What's better than a slice of pie? How about an entire menu of pies. Recently, the Sunday Supper series hosted an evening based on Sophie Conran's The Mini Book of Pies. Resident chef Glenys Morgan created an unforgettable four-course meal that included Fish and Fennel Pie with Saffron Mash. A dish Barbara-jo dubbed "the best fish pie I ever ate."
Guests were treated to three more variations on pie heaven. A classically-inspired Onion Tart, a Beef, Ale and Mushroom Pie accompanied by Yorkshire Pudding, and an elegant Apple Crumble for dessert.
