Lobster is often thought of as a luxury dish, and something best left to the experts when it comes to cooking. But Matt Dean Pettit, chef and owner of Rock Lobster Food Co., says this doesn't have to be true. Cooking with lobster can be fun, easy and stress-free. Matt wants everyone to know that lobster doesn't have to be reserved for special occasions, and today he'll tell us more during a CBC Radio taping for North by Northwest's Cooking Club.
He will discuss his new book, The Great Lobster Cookbook, with host, Sheryl MacKay, and demonstrate a recipe from its pages. The book aims to demystify the lobster, with anatomy tips, easy to follow recipes and even recipes from chefs like Mark McEwan and Roger Mooking.
