This year we are honouring a few of our favourite authors who are no longer with us or unable to visit the shop, but who have provided us with a rich legacy of knowledge and recipes.
We are celebrating Paula Wolfert tonight, author of eight cookbooks, all considered classics. She has traveled extensively to collect the stories and recipes that make her books a beautiful portrait of the countries she has visited. And tonight we are focusing on her most recent book,The Food of Morocco, which won the James Beard Award for Best International Cookbook in 2012. It is the culmination of more than forty years of experience and research into the food of this fascinating country.
Chef Glenys Morgan will cook up a Moroccan feast for this Sunday Supper, with plenty of tips and tricks for creating your own at home.
Cost: $120, includes a Moroccan Sunday Supper and a copy of The Food of Morocco.
