We present a second opportunity for you to meet award winning writer, Ruth Reichl. This afternoon Sheryl MacKay will interview Ruth for CBC Radio's North by Northwest Cooking Club in our shop.
We're very much looking forward to hearing Ruth's stories as she was the restaurant critic for The Los Angeles Times (1984-1993) and The New York Times (1993-1999) before she was Editor in Chief of Gourmet Magazine for the ten years before its closing in 2009.
She is in town to promote her new book, Delicious!, a novel about a young Californian who travels to work for an iconic food magazine in New York and finds a series of letters written during WWII to renowned chef, James Beard.
This afternoon we will serve tea and a treat to enjoy while listening and Ruth will sign her books after the interview.
