This year we are honouring a few of our favourite authors who are no longer with us or who are unable to visit the shop, but who have provided us with a rich legacy of knowledge and recipes.
Tonight we are featuring the work of Laurie Colwin (1944-1992), an American writer who wrote for The New Yorker, Mademoiselle, Allure, and was a regular contributor for Gourmet magazine. She also published a number of books- all fiction with the exception of Home Cooking: A Writer in the Kitchen and More Home Cooking: A Writer Returns to the Kitchen which are collections of essays and the piece of her legacy we will be celebrating tonight.
Chef Glenys Morgan will cook our Sunday Supper inspired by the pages of these beloved books.
Cost: $120, includes your Sunday Supper and a copy of both Home Cooking: A Writer in the Kitchen and More Home Cooking: A Writer Returns to the Kitchen.
