We love Darina Allen and her family for their dedication to food and culinary education. She is passionate about sharing knowledge and does so in many ways: at Ballymaloe Cookery School, which she founded with her brother in 1983, through her cookery program, aired in Ireland, called "Simply Delicious" and through the pages of her 10 books.
Today we celebrate her birthday with a "simply delicious" lunch, cooked by Chef Adrienne O'Callaghan, our first shop resident chef. Adrienne trained at Ballymaloe and will share stories of her time there, in addition to demonstrating our lunch.
Cost: $105, includes lunch and a $30 voucher, good for any purchase you may desire in shop. Seating is limited to 14 guests.
