Barbara-Jo's Books to Cooks is pleased to host a Six O'Clock Salon with much acclaimed British author, Sarah Dunant. Sarah will make a stop in Vancouver on her North American book tour for her latest novel, Sacred Hearts.
Sarah, a New York Times bestselling author, is a well known novelist and screenplay writer. Her work spans over 20 years and includes eight novels and two screenplays. She has also worked in television and radio as a presenter and producer.
Sacred Hearts is Sarah's third novel set in Renaissance Italy. The novel takes place in 1570 in the northern town of Ferrara just at the verge of the Counter Reformation of the Catholic Church. Sacred Hearts is a rich, suspenseful multifaceted love story that delves into the deep, enduring power of friendship.
Join us for our Six O'Clock Salon on Wednesday, July 15 at 6:00 p.m. for a unique opportunity to meet Sarah Dunant and to hear her read from Sacred Hearts. The evening includes a signed copy of Sacred Hearts and refreshments.
